AS A PLAYWRIGHT,
I believe character is the forefront of story. As well, as an optimist, I believe the majority of humans act with good intentions, despite the outcome. When I combine these two premises, I find my work focused not on heroes or villains, but on well-intentioned people who can’t help but hurt each other.
